We are dedicated to creativity and community engagement.
At The HUB Station, we are a vibrant cultural hub dedicated to fostering creativity and community engagement here in the Hudson, North Carolina area. Housed in a beautifully renovated 80-year-old school building, this center serves as a gathering place for arts and art enthusiasts alike.
Within our arts center, you can explore a variety of artistic offerings. For example, The Red Awning Gallery, which is operated by the Western North Carolina Society of Artisans, showcases a wide range of original artwork and crafts, including visual art, soap, wood, glass, and fiber. This gallery not only displays local talent but also provides opportunities for artists to teach classes in their respective media, whether this is painting, weaving, or jewelry making.
Our arts center also hosts a range of classes and events, catering to both youth and adults. And, if you are interested in hands-on artistic creation, our arts center offers studio spaces for lease. You can choose between shared “artist palettes” or larger private studios, providing a dedicated environment where you can focus on your craft. These spaces are in high demand, which reflects our center’s role as a nurturing ground for artistic development.
Whether you are seeking a space to create art, a visitor exploring local art, or someone interested in taking a class, our arts center provides a welcoming environment for all. To learn more about everything offered for the arts through our organization, reach out to us today.
At The HUB Station, we’re proud to be a thriving art center open to locals from Hudson, Asheville, Boone, Blowing Rock, Charlotte, Granite Falls, Greensboro, Hickory, Lenoir, Morganton, Taylorsville, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
