This summer, step back in time for an unforgettable evening of laughter and heart with the award-winning one-man Broadway show Say Goodnight, Gracie. Presented by the Town of Hudson, this intimate boutique dinner theatre production will run for one week only, Thursday through Sunday, June 12–15, at the HUB Station Auditorium.
About the Show
Say Goodnight, Gracie is a critically acclaimed Broadway hit, known as the third longest-running solo show in Broadway history. Written by Rupert Holmes, the story centers around legendary comedian George Burns, who reflects on his Brooklyn childhood, his early days in Vaudeville, and his iconic love story and comedic partnership with Gracie Allen. Originally performed by Frank Gorshin (famously known as Batman’s Riddler), this Hudson production will star David Ring, fondly remembered as Father Tim in the Town of Hudson’s Welcome to Mitford.
Directed by Keith Smith, this touching and humorous journey offers an evening of nostalgia, insight, and steady laughter, sure to resonate with audiences of all ages. “This summer series is a smaller-scale, one-weekend-only show,” says Smith. “But the performance is powerful, and we expect it to sell very well.”
