Time: 11:30am – 2:00pm
Location: Tricia Andreassen’s Art Studio – Second Floor – Arts Center

What is alcohol ink? Alcohol Ink it is a fast-drying, highly pigmented, alcohol-based substance that can be applied to any hard, non-porous surface including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, leather and polymer clay, as well as specially treated Yupo® paper. Once the ink is applied, the alcohol evaporates, leaving the dye behind. At this point, it can be re-wet with rubbing alcohol, and with the right manipulation it becomes possible to create effects that cannot be achieved with water-based products like acrylic paint. 16 years+.
In this class we will be focused on a mountain landscape painting on Yupo Paper.
P.S. Enjoy the beautiful ground of the Hub Station! Have a picnic on our grounds next to the fountain. Sit on the benches with a new friend, grab a fresh cup of specialty coffee or take a walk through our beautiful gallery halls!
