ART TAKES THE RUNWAY
An Evening of Art, Music & Community
Join us for Art Takes the Runway, an evening of art and elegance hosted by the Western North Carolina Society of Artisans in collaboration with the Red Awning Gallery. This special event takes place Friday, March 6, at the HUB Station Auditorium and celebrates creativity, culture, and community.
The evening begins at 6:00 PM with a welcoming reception featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres and live music by Paddyak, featuring Patrick and Kay Crouch. Enjoy fellowship with fellow art lovers as the gallery atmosphere comes alive. Craft beer and wine will be available to purchase at 3 Drinks Down Beverage Co.
At 6:30 PM, featured works by Red Awning Gallery artists will be showcased on the runway, accompanied by narration offering insight into the inspiration and stories behind each piece—bringing the artwork to life in a truly unique way.
While there is no cover charge, a $10 donation is welcomed. Proceeds support the Western North Carolina Society of Artisans’ Scholarship and Youth Award Fund, helping ensure future generations have access to the arts. The Red Awning Gallery will be open before and after the event.
