Bob Henson – Guitar Teacher
Looking to learn guitar or improve your skills in a fun, welcoming environment? Bob Henson, a beloved retired Caldwell County educator and lifelong musician, brings over 50 years of musical experience to his lessons. Bob performs regularly with various ensembles across the region and has a deep passion for both playing and teaching music.
After retiring from education Bob began teaching guitar through the Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) Program, where he now serves as the program director for the Caldwell Arts Council. In addition to his work with JAM, Bob teaches private guitar lessons five days a week at The HUB Station in Hudson.
His teaching philosophy is simple but powerful:
Students must learn something, and
Students must have fun.
Each lesson is one hour long and costs just $20, making it an affordable and enriching experience for beginners and seasoned players alike. Lessons are open to both adults and children, making this a great opportunity for anyone in the community to explore or deepen their love of music. Whether you’re just starting out or picking the guitar back up after years away, Bob offers personalized instruction in a relaxed and encouraging setting.
Lessons take place at The HUB Station Arts Center in Hudson, NC.
