THIRD THURSDAY – CONCERT ON THE LAWN – PRESSLEY LATON
Join us for Third Thursday, a monthly event centered around musical experiences for everyone to enjoy!
Grab your friends, family, and favorite lawn chairs for an evening concert on the front lawn of the HUB Station! Our featured band will be Pressley Laton. Her country and rock-influenced vocals will punch right through you like Starr Larkin’s paddle, a wooden school paddle that Pressley Laton’s principal nicknamed “Ol’ George,” that is. With at least 3 chords and the half-truth as in her debut single, “Ol’ George,” the Stanly County, NC native’s small-town stories inspire her songwriting. Whether it was crossing paths with a local “Mountain Man” before graduating from Appalachian State University or the fact she had to break the news to her dad that she wasn’t coming back home because of it, her gritty country sound will have you tapping your toes all night long.
3 Drinks Down will be open from 4-9pm for all your craft beer and wine needs. They have a selection that is unmatched in Hudson! 40+ different craft beverages and 20+ wines. Come hungry and enjoy dinner from Johnny’s Pizza with delicious pizzas!
