THE MITFORD MUSEUM – PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
SMARTPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS FOR YOUTH
Photography Workshops for Youth
Presented by The Mitford Museum, these hands-on smartphone photography workshops are led by Maggie Flanigan, Director of the AFA Visual Arts program at Caldwell Community College. Designed for young photographers, the sessions explore the fundamentals of composition, lighting, perspective, and creative storytelling—all using the camera you carry every day.
Whether you’re interested in entering the Candace Freeland Photography of Merit Award or simply want to become more confident behind the lens, this workshop offers practical tips, guided instruction, and plenty of opportunities to practice your skills in a supportive environment.
Participation in the workshop is not required to enter the photography contest, but it is highly encouraged for anyone looking to strengthen their photography techniques and creativity.
