SUMMER JAM CAMP
This summer, come JAM with us!
The Caldwell Arts Council Summer JAM Camp is a 9 program where school-aged students can learn to play their choice of guitar, mandolin, or fiddle in the old-time tradition of playing and signing by ear. The program welcomes all levels, including beginners.
Traditional Style and Its Importance: The program focuses on learning music naturally, by ear, as passed down through generations in the Appalachian region. This method helps students develop listening, improvisation, and collaboration skills while fostering a deep connection to the music and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Appalachian Mountains.
