FIRST FRIDAY – ARTIST RECEPTION WITH BEVERLY MIHELICH
Join us for July’s First Friday Art Reception featuring For God and Country, a special exhibition by local artist and Navy veteran Beverly Mihelich. Created in celebration of America’s 250th birthday, this collection showcases a remarkable variety of handcrafted and patriotic artworks inspired by service, faith, family, and love of country.
The exhibition features nearly 250 pieces of art and fine craft, including miniature watercolor paintings, jewelry, button pins, weaving, crochet, fiber art, altered clothing, macramé flags, unique neurographic art, and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view a deeply personal art journal reflecting the artist’s experiences as a military child, Navy veteran, Navy spouse, and lifelong creative.

Proceeds from artwork sales will benefit the American Legion’s Children & Youth programs, helping support local NJROTC and Color Guard teams as they prepare to compete at the National American Legion Convention.
