MITFORD MUSEUM SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Reading Fun Begins June 2
Join The Mitford Museum for a summer filled with stories, creativity, and imagination! Inspired by the vision of author Jan Karon, this beloved program is designed to nurture a love of reading while encouraging children to explore their creativity in fun and meaningful ways.
This year’s program focuses on providing Youth Literacy Packs to children throughout our community. In partnership with local schools’ summer feeding programs, these packs help ensure that every child has access to books, creative tools, and engaging activities all summer long.
What to Expect:
📚 An age-appropriate book to inspire a love of reading
🎨 Hands-on art supplies for creative exploration
✨ Fun activities to enjoy independently or with family and friends
Each Literacy Pack is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, encourage imagination, and support continued learning beyond the classroom.
