Join us October 3–4 at the HUB Station Arts Center for a very special weekend celebrating the highly anticipated release of Jan Karon’s 15th Mitford novel, My Beloved. This once-in-a-lifetime literary event, hosted by The Mitford Museum, invites fans of Mitford to experience the warmth, charm, and storytelling magic of beloved author Jan Karon in an unforgettable setting.

Appalachian Music & Dance Concert
Make a weekend of it with an evening of live music and traditional dance featuring The Cane Creek Cloggers and The Pressley Girls. Enjoy general seating in the Hudson Arts Center Auditorium as these celebrated performers bring the spirit of the mountains to life.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Add-on concert tickets are available.
📖 Saturday, October 4 | An Afternoon with Jan Karon
🍷 4:00–5:00 PM – VIP Reception
Enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, and a private meet-and-greet with Jan Karon. VIP tickets include a signed copy of My Beloved and access to all Saturday events. Limited availability.
🍽️ 5:00–7:00 PM – BBQ Supper
Savor a southern-style feast catered by Hog Wild BBQ, featuring pulled pork, chicken, classic sides, and dessert. Meal tickets also include the launch presentation and a signed copy of the novel.
📚 7:00–8:00 PM – Book Launch Presentation
Hear Jan Karon reflect on her journey and share the inspiration behind My Beloved in an intimate author talk to conclude the evening. All ticket holders will receive a signed copy of the new novel.
