Prepare to be captivated as Laura Sedlacek kickstarts the evening with her enchanting poetry. Then, it’s your time to shine! We invite all poets, wordsmiths, and lyricists to take center stage and share your verses with a receptive audience.

L.B. Sedlacek is the author of several collections of poetry. Her most recent books are “Organic Soup,” published by Bottlecap Press and “Unresponsive Sky,” published by Purple Unicorn Press. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize for the title poem in “Unresponsive Sky” and has also been nominated for Best of the Net in poetry. She is also best known locally for her Thomas Wolfe memorial prize nominated mystery book “The Glass River,” set in Happy Valley.
