Beginning Weaving: An Introduction to Fiber Arts
Discover the art of weaving in this Beginning Weaving class designed for those new to the loom or looking to build a strong foundation in fiber arts. Over the course of 8 weeks, students will learn the fundamentals and foundational techniques of weaving in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Guided by instructor Patty Palmer Maness, you’ll explore basic weaving structures, loom setup, yarn selection, and finishing techniques while creating simple woven pieces. This class focuses on skill-building and understanding the weaving process, setting you up for future projects and continued exploration of the craft.
🧶 All materials are provided, including looms, yarns, tools, and essential supplies — just bring your curiosity and creativity!
